Grace Insurance today announced the acquisition of Add Insure, a well-established brokerage based in Darwin, Northern Territory. The acquisition is expected to finalise on 20 April 2026.
The acquisition sees all Add Insure staff transition to Grace Insurance NT, reinforcing the company’s commitment to maintaining local expertise and client relationships in the Northern Territory market.
“This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our national expansion strategy,” said Frans du Plessis, Managing Director of Grace Insurance. “Darwin is a unique market with specific insurance needs, and the Add Insure team brings invaluable local knowledge and strong client relationships that align perfectly with our service philosophy.”
Jayde Mulholland, CEO of Add Insure, commented on the transition: “This is a great thing for the clients and staff of Add Insure. Frans and his team will bring a rich depth of knowledge and give an extra bit of firepower to the NT. Our clients will benefit from the national resources of Grace Insurance while keeping the local faces they trust. ”
The Darwin office joins Grace Insurance’s growing national network, which now spans most Australian states and territories. The company’s head office is located in Perth, Western Australia, with established offices in Sydney and Melbourne. Most recently, Grace Insurance opened its first Queensland office in Maroochydore on 2 February 2026, signalling the company’s commitment to the Sunshine Coast region.
Strategic Growth
Grace Insurance has achieved exceptional growth over the past several years, delivering year-on-year growth despite challenging market conditions. This performance reflects the company’s client-first approach, strategic market positioning, and disciplined expansion into key Australian markets.
Specialising in the SME sector, Grace Insurance has built a reputation for understanding the unique challenges facing small and medium-sized businesses across Australia. The company’s ability to deliver tailored insurance solutions and personalised service has driven strong client retention and referral growth.
Expanding into Strata Insurance
Following the finalisation of the Add Insure acquisition, Grace Insurance will launch a dedicated Strata team, marking the company’s entry into the growing strata insurance market. Currently Grace Insurance already holds a significant strata insurance portfolio. This strategic move reflects increasing demand for specialist strata insurance advice and positions Grace Insurance to serve residential and commercial strata schemes across its national footprint.
“We’ve seen strong demand from strata managers and owners’ corporations for a broker that truly understands this sector,” Frans added. “Our new Strata team will bring the same level of expertise and service that our SME clients have come to expect.”
All existing Add Insure clients will continue to receive uninterrupted service, with the added benefit of access to Grace Insurance’s broader capabilities, national resources, and expanded insurer panel.
